A Tilting Body of Precarious Maps and Migrant Constellations is an interactive virtual exhibition bringing together artworks by over 100 artists from across the world in an immersive online space that blends gallery, digital game, and social platform. Created in collaboration with alys longley, Jeffrey Holdaway, Kate Stevenson, and DotDot Creative Studios (New York City), the work gathers art made in conditions of border-crossing, displacement, and international solidarity — proposing the virtual as a space for genuine intercultural encounter.

Visitors move through the exhibition as through a living landscape, discovering works that cross languages, hemispheres, and disciplines. The project grows and shifts over time, accumulating new contributions and new connections between artists who might never otherwise share a room.

Presented at the Modes of Capture Conference, Dublin (2021) and in ongoing virtual showings across Chile, Ireland, Portugal, Australia and the USA, A Tilting Body asks what it means to make and hold space for creative knowledge in a world of increasing digital capture — and whether art might offer an alternative.
